2023 SOPHWORKS RECOVERY GROUP LEGAL PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOP

In 2023, Sophworks Recovery Group’s Summer Workshops are in their 5th year. The aim of the Workshop is to help to disburse knowledge and skills into the community. The Workshops expose aspiring professionals to the people, facts, and assets that will help them make informed decisions about their professional lives. 

The 2023 SRG Summer Workshop will focus its attention on the legal profession. We will learn about legal professionals—lawyers and attorneys, judges, paralegals, clerks, and others—including their qualifications and typical activities.  Attendees can look forward to presentations from many of these professionals, with the hope to gain the following insights: 1) to appreciate their journey of entering the legal profession, including obstacles and challenges; and 2) to understand a day-in-the-life look at the living experience of the legal professional (what it is like to be that professional). Presenters will also be available to answer the questions of attendees.  

The workshop will occur on the 5 Saturday mornings, between May 27th and June 24th, from 10am to 12pm EST. Virtual, by Zoom.
